Coin of 1897, made of copper. The edge of the coin consists of many vertical notches. The obverse of the coin depicts the monogram of Nicholas II. The crown is supplemented with a ribbon of St. Andrew’s Order.
On the reverse of the coin, the denomination is indicated in a fraction at the top: the number “1”, below there is a horizontal line, and below it is the number “2” (i.e. ½). There are two stars on the left and right sides. Under the denomination there is a word “KOPEIKI”, lower there is a pattern in the form of a floral ornament with a circle in the center, below there is the date of minting – “1897”. At the very bottom there are the letters “S.P.B.” (Saint Petersburg).
