On 24 March 2022, a scientific conference was held at the Faculty of History of the Abkhaz State University (ASU). The conference was held in conjunction with the 90th anniversary of the ASU and the 85th anniversary of the Faculty of History of the ASU.
At the conference, the chairman of HMA Council, Archimandrite Dorotheos (Dbar), Doctor of Theology, Lecturer in the Department of History, Archeology and Ethnology of Abkhazia, Faculty of History of ASU, made a presentation, named “A little-known event from the ancient history of Pitsunda”.
