On April 15-16, 2023, the feast of the Holy Resurrection of Christ – Easter was solemnly celebrated in the New Athos Monastery. Believers and pilgrims from various cities of Abkhazia and Russia gathered in the cathedral church of the monastery.
According to the tradition of the New Athos Monastery, at the end of the Church service, all participants of the prayer were treated to a festive Easter meal in the refectory of the monastery.
