On 5 January 2023, commemorative events, devoted to the 30th anniversary of the January offensive operation of the Abkhaz army during the Patriotic War of Abkhazian people were held in the Museum of Military Glory in Gudauta.
The abbot of the New Athos monastery, ab David (Sarsaniya), laid flowers at the Glory memorial in Gudauta, and also planted a memorial pine tree in the park named after Gumba, at the burial place of the victims of the Latskaya tragedy.
